Three of Pine Tree Academy's four varsity head coaches are former Breakers student-athletes who came back to lead the next generation.

Boys Varsity Soccer

Jess Remmes-Davis

Head Coach

A former All-American and an inductee of the New York Soccer Hall of Fame, Remmes-Davis long held the New York high school record with 168 career goals. She played NCAA Division I soccer at James Madison University, played in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, and played professionally in France's Première Ligue for Montpellier and EA Guingamp.

Natalie Marden

Head Coach

A standout player during her own years as a Breaker, Marden returned to Pine Tree Academy in 2025 to coach the girls varsity soccer program she once played in.

  • Boys Varsity Soccer — 2025 MPA 8-Person South Regional Finalist

    The Breakers advanced to the Maine Principals' Association 8-Person South Regional Final in the 2025 season. Maine splits each class into 2 regions, so a Regional Final is the statewide Final 4 stage.

  • Girls Varsity Soccer — MPA Class S South Tournament Qualifier

    The Breakers earned a postseason berth in the Maine Principals' Association Class S South tournament.

  • Middle School Soccer — Undefeated MCSSL Season, 2nd of 16

    The co-ed middle school team went undefeated in Maine Christian School Sports League (MCSSL) play and finished 2nd out of 16 teams.

  • Miguel Matos — East-West Conference Player of the Year

    Miguel Matos was named East-West Conference Player of the Year for 2025-26 and also earned East-West Conference All Star Team honors and a place on the MSC State All Star Team.

Middle School Soccer
