FREEPORT, Maine — Pine Tree Academy boys varsity soccer has reached a new milestone: No. 4 in Maine in the MaxPreps boys soccer rankings across all classes — the highest statewide ranking in program history. At 15–0, the undefeated Breakers are preparing for their biggest match of the season.
PTA punched its ticket to the regional championship with an 8–0 win over Temple Academy on Friday, October 30. Senior captain Rhett Tyson scored three times, Fitzroy Hakizimana added two goals and an assist, and Camden Brace, Rio Soram and Lucky Kabeya each found the net. The game ended under the mercy rule.
