Breakers Roll Past Rangeley, 86-32, into the Semifinals

AUGUSTA, Maine — No. 2 Pine Tree Academy opened the Class S South tournament with an 86-32 win over No. 7 Rangeley at the Augusta Civic Center.

The Breakers led 17-13 after one quarter, then clamped down defensively, holding Rangeley to 19 points over the final three quarters.

Rhett Tyson led all scorers with 29 points. Lucky Kabeya added 17, Colby Solberg scored 13, and Benjamin Christman finished with 10.

Pine Tree Academy improved to 13-4 and advanced to the regional semifinal against Forest Hills.
